About the Department

Neighbors protecting neighbors.

The Zearing Fire Department is an all-volunteer team that trains together year-round to keep our community safe. Funds raised at our community events go directly back into gear, vehicles, and training.

    First Tuesday

    The department meets the first Tuesday of every month for training, planning, and equipment checks.

  • Annual Fundraisers

    BBQ Pork & Ice Fishing Derby

    Hosts an annual BBQ Pork Sandwich Day and an Ice Fishing Derby to raise funds for equipment and training.

Zearing EMS

First responders on call for our community.

Zearing EMS is a dedicated volunteer team that supports the fire department and provides first response across our service area, day or night.

What to know

  • A dedicated volunteer team serving Zearing and the surrounding area.
  • Hosts an annual fundraiser soup day every October to support equipment and training.
  • Works hand-in-hand with the fire department for fires, medical calls, accidents, and rescues.
