About the Department
Neighbors protecting neighbors.
The Zearing Fire Department is an all-volunteer team that trains together year-round to keep our community safe. Funds raised at our community events go directly back into gear, vehicles, and training.

BBQ Pork & Ice Fishing Derby
Hosts an annual BBQ Pork Sandwich Day and an Ice Fishing Derby to raise funds for equipment and training.

Zearing EMS is a dedicated volunteer team that supports the fire department and provides first response across our service area, day or night.
What to know
- A dedicated volunteer team serving Zearing and the surrounding area.
- Hosts an annual fundraiser soup day every October to support equipment and training.
- Works hand-in-hand with the fire department for fires, medical calls, accidents, and rescues.
In an emergency
Always dial 911 for fire, medical, or rescue emergencies. Dispatch will alert Zearing Fire & EMS along with any additional mutual-aid agencies needed.
