Burn Ban in Effect Until Further Notice

Due to dry conditions, a burn ban is in effect for the city and surrounding area until further notice. Open burning of any kind, including burn barrels and yard waste, is prohibited.

Small recreational fires in approved fire pits with a lid or screen are still permitted, but must be attended at all times with a water source nearby.

Report violations or questions to the fire department's non-emergency line. The ban will be lifted once conditions improve.
